Local firm, Midland Window Installations Ltd of 7-8 Hannah Parade, Stonehill Avenue, Birstall, Leicester has won a top prize in a competition to find the best conservatories of 2001.
The national competition, sponsored by the UK's leading manufacturer and designer of conservatory roof systems Ultraframe, showcase the most well designed and executed conservatories both in the UK and around the world. Competitions is intense: this year the organisers received hundreds of entries and the judges had a tough time deciding on the winners.

However, Midland Window Installations Ltd triumphed, scooping an award for best conservatory in the large Victorian category. The winning conservatory was designed and built for a customer from Syston, Leicestershire.

The customer said: "We are so pleased with the wonderful job that Midland Window Installations has done in building such a fantastic addition to our new home. The fact that they also now won an award for it, is the icing on the cake".
